The Secrate Garden
Their once was a girl named Lilly. She was part of a rich family that lived in Los Angelis California. One stormy night her mother and father went to a costume party at a friend’s house. They were on their way home and they stopped at a red light and waited till it turned green. Once the light turned green the father turned left and before they knew it they were in a puddle of their blood and they heard sirens going off. The mother heard the police officer say that they only had 20minutes to live. The mother was paralyzed from the waist down. She knew that her daughter was going to be and orphan.
Later that night the daughter heard the door bell chime. She ran down the stairs to see who it was and noticed it was the police. She saw the red and blue lights and heard the pitter patter of the rain on the roof of the house then the officer said “Are you the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Ferson?”
Lilly replied “Yes. Is there something wrong?”
The police officers said “We are sorry to inform you but your parents have been in a traffic collision. We have come to get you and some of your belongings you will be staying with your aunt and uncle Murry.”
Lilly ran to her room before the police could see the tears in her eyes.
Lilly was in the squad car and her suit case was next to her witch contained her dads gold cufflinks, some of the many of her clothes, a few of her favorite trinkets from her friends and last her moms old jewelry box. The sun just starting to rise over the horizon, rain finale stopped; in the far distance she saw the outline of a three story house. The squad car pulled in the rock driveway and skidded to a stop.
Lilly got out and hesitated walking to the front door. Then she heard the car door slam and saw one of the police officers carrying her luggage to the front door where her aunt and uncle Murry was waiting for her. She walked behind the officer till they got in side, then she went and sat on the couch till the cops left. Her aunt walked to her and eyed her up and then told her the rules of the house “no eating anywhere besides the kitchen, no loud noise, no candy, no pop, no music, no T.V. and most important no going into the garden!!!”
Lilly got escorted to her room on the 3rd floor and her aunt locked her in. Lilly looked around and she found a vent, she looked down it and saw a light, she pulled the cover off and slid down the chute. She landed with a thud and she was in a laundry room that looked as if it had not been used in years. She looked around and found two doors and she opened one of them and saw outside. She closed the door and climbed up the chute and got back in her room, she replaced the screen and at that moment she heard the door unlock and open up. Her aunt said “Time to eat you runt.” Lilly walked down the stairs to the kitchen table and sat down and got ready to say grace. Her aunt asked what was wrong and she said that she always said grace before every meal. And that made the ticking time bomb in her aunts head go off “What do you mean you say grace? Don’t you know that this is a family that doesn’t have a dang religion? I don’t care if you said it at your house but your mom and dad are dead and now you live with us. No breakfast for you go feed the animals!” And while she walked off her aunt said “And stay away from the garden!”
She threw the animals their food and walked to the corner of the house. She looked at the garden and saw that it had a door in the wall. She walked over and touched it and right then her uncle looked out the window. He walked out there and yelled at her to get her butt (for nicer words) over to him. She ran because if he had to wait he would explode. He wiped her till black and blue and then walked her to her room and said no food for you for the next two days then locked the door. She had enough time to look more carefully around her room and found that if you step on the right floor boards you could play twinkle twinkle little star. She remembered that she didn’t unpack so she got out her luggage and started getting to work. She looked at her mom’s jewelry box and saw that the bottom of it lifted out. She took it out and saw a key. It was a skeleton key and she put it on a chain and made it a necklace. She also remembered the passage to the laundry room and slid down it. She got out side and ran to the door. She looked at it and saw that it used a skeleton key like the one that she found. She took it off and put it in the hole that the key goes in and turned it and the door opened up. She looked in and saw that it was like another world. She closed the door and locked it firm and ran and got back in her room. She couldn’t believe what she saw. A few days later when she got let out she sat down at the table and asked what was in the garden that was so scary, important, or illegal. Her aunt answered that it wasn’t a good place for anyone to go.
A few days ago she had to do her daily chores she couldn’t forget what she saw and she ran to her room. She grabbed her stuff and packed it up she dropped it down the chute and then put it is the old dryer. She waited a few nights and when she knew every one was asleep she made her move. She dropped down the chute but this time it collapsed while she slid down it. It woke up her aunt and uncle and they ran to her room. She got her suit case and ran to the door. She opened up the door but at that time the uncle looked out and saw her at the door in the garden. He ran down to the door and opened it up but right when he got to her she slammed the door in his face and locked it.
She thought it looked familiar and then she heard her mom’s voice and ran to the house in the new world. She opened up the door and saw her mom in the kitchen with a fresh batch of cookies. She started to tear up and ran to her mom. She hugged her to death and said “Mom is it really you?”
Her mom said yes and sat her down at the table. Her mom poured a glass of milk and put the nice, hot, chocolate cookies on a plate and said dig in. She heard the door open and saw her dad walk in with his brief case in hand. Lilly ran and hugged him with all her strength and she sat down and said grace and had dinner as a family.

Sorry
I am so very sorry for the time I have been off. I am hoping to get back online by new-years day. My computer is down so it is an inconvenience. So keep checking back to my blog for hopefully new updates.
